Sterrenwacht Halley

Halley Observatory is located in Vinkel, Brabant, in the part that belongs to the municipality of Bernheze. The observatory has three domes with telescopes, a planetarium, an auditorium, an exhibition space, a radio telescope and a 10-kilometre-long Planet Trail. A visit is therefore an unforgettable experience for young and old alike!

The Halley Observatory Association was officially founded in 1985. One of its main objectives is to popularise astronomy: it holds two open evenings for the public each month, numerous receptions and guided tours for schools and other groups, several courses each year, lectures, planetarium shows, youth afternoons and other youth activities.

“Together with students from Fontys ICT, Halley Observatory is modernising its ICT infrastructure to ensure that every visit, whether by young or old, is an unforgettable experience!” Corporate website
