A strong future through collaboration: Fontys welcomes new education partners

On Wednesday 21 May, during the Fontys IT Festival, we welcomed no fewer than 15 organisations to (re)seal their partnership with a covenant as Partner in Education

Niek Schmitz, partner manager emphasises the value of the partnerships: "We find it important that our students are introduced to the professional field throughout their studies. Our partners make this possible by, for example, bringing in practical projects and cases in the first and second year of study and coaching students in this. With that, our entire education leans heavily on our partners, so we can never have enough partners!"

The festive event took place during the annual IT Festival: a vibrant day full of inspiration, innovation and interaction for students, professionals and anyone with a passion for IT. With the theme ‘Your development, the region's future’, the focus was on personal and professional growth. This again emphasised the importance of good cooperation between education and the professional field.
