Internet of Things, Big Data, Cloud Computing... these are terms you hear regularly; it is part of everyday life. SenseAnywhere is a Dutch engineering company founded in 2009 and based in Roosendaal. SenseAnywhere develops ultra-low-power wireless data loggers that communicate with and store data in the Cloud. The sensors can measure parameters like temperature, humidity and motion and are easy to install, use and maintain. SenseAnywhere has deployments in over 30 countries on all continents. SenseAnywhere is ISO9001 certified, GxP compliant and focuses on quality and reliability.

AiroSensors built to last

The SenseAnywhere sensors can be used in many industries like healthcare, hospitality, transport and many more. The sensors are used, for example, to monitor the temperature of medical samples or to check cooled food during transport. The data (tables and graphs) can be accessed from any smartphone, tablet, PC or laptop. Users get an alarm (per Email / SMS) when parameter limits are exceeded. Unique to our sensor is the 10-year battery life. We take the complexity out of monitoring environmental parameters.

ICT & Smart Mobile - Semester 4 - Research based

SenseAnywhere lets students work on location determination of a Mobile modem without GPS support. Here it is about using information that the modem can obtain from a GSM / 3G / 4G network to collect in the modem (application that runs on the modem Linux, OpenWRT) via an API to the cloud and there processing on the basis of public information about locations of radio masts and network info, triangulation etc. to determine the latitude and longitude as well as possible.

This can optionally be supplemented with a web-based tool that visualises on a map and indicates where the vehicles are located.
